Our Commitment
Our goal is to enable all website users – regardless of their individual needs – unrestricted access to our digital offerings.
State of Compliance with Requirements
This website complies with the conformance level AA of the “Guidelines for Accessible Web Content – WCAG 2.1” as well as the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to the directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council in most parts.
Implemented Measures
We have already implemented the following measures to improve accessibility:

The content elements are automatically optimized for the best possible readability and adjusted for the respective display size. Additionally, sufficient contrast has been considered in the design.
Keyboard Operation: The main menu can be operated using the keyboard (Tab key, arrow keys). Interactive elements are accessible and operable via the keyboard.
Structuring and Semantics
- All pages have meaningful page titles
- The language of the page is declared in the markup
- The HTML markup used is standards-compliant
- Headings are hierarchically structured
- Links have meaningful labels
Accessibility for Assistive Technologies
- Alternative texts for informative images
- Sufficient color contrasts
- Support for screen readers
Non-accessible content
The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reasons:
- Incompatibility with accessibility standards
Texts and comprehensibility: We strive to write our texts largely without abbreviations and foreign words, and avoid convoluted sentence structures. If a text is not understandable, we ask for feedback.
Contrast issues: Occasional contrast problems mainly relate to: cookie banners that overlay existing content and external content from third parties
Multimedia content: Not all videos have subtitles or audio descriptions.
PDF documents: Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. - Disproportionate burden
Content from third parties: Our website partially uses content and services from third parties (e.g., online booking systems). For this content, no complete statement can be made regarding compliance with accessibility standards, as they are outside our control.
Legacy content: Making all existing content fully accessible retroactively, especially older PDF documents and multimedia content, would impose a disproportionate burden. - Alternative contact options are available:

The complaints are reviewed by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the requirements of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with the accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an entity associated with it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the affected legal entities and propose measures that serve to eliminate the existing deficiencies.
